David was so excited yesterday - here is the email he sent to family and friends -
"What do ya think of this little beauty? I was about to throw the towel in around 19.30 but then as all fishermen say "One last cast". Sure enough it did the job and I caught myself my first Meditteranean Squid. I was surprised at how large it was and it gave a spirited fight. I had to be careful winding it in as they have very delicate tentacles. The little buggar aimed his ink well and scored a bullseye on the inside of my left thigh. There goes that pair of pants! I am sure we will delight in its offerring for lunchtime tomorrow. See ya!! Dave. xxx"
