Biot is a picturesque little village. It's was known mainly for pottery until Pablo Picasso reviewed the industry after WWII. These days, Biot is very famous for its bubble flecked glassware, with 8 glass works in town. We went to La Verrerie de Biot to marvel and the skill of these master glass blowers. Even though a lot of the pieces are functional each piece is individually blown and shaped. It was a fascinating visit.
