is a classic medieval village PERCHE!!! It was built away from the Coast to avoid Saracen attack and is perched high on a hill. The ramparts are completely re-inforced in a wall and this was undertaken back in the 16th century. These days it looks like it is still under seige - it's a mecca for artists of all description and is one of the most popular tourist sights in France. I've got so many "favourite" spots - and this is just happens to be one of them - I took PLENTY of photographs ... as I do!!!
