Rome - Vatican City

We spent an entire day exploring the Sistene Chapel, St Peter's Basilica, St Peter's Square, Vatican Tombs etc. There was a service taking place to consecrate 25 new priests so that added even more atmosphere and the choir was magnificent. I also enjoyed Ponte Saint'Angelpo and the bridge leading to it with the beautiful statues (in earlier times it had provided access to Hadrian's mausoleum). We walked all the way back to take in even more atmosphere and to check out the social activity in a couple of the Piazza's and have another Italian meal near David's favourite building the Pantheon.
