The world renowned Cafe de Paris on Place du Casino is one of the oldest and most stylish restaurants in Monte Carlo. It's been a bit like going full circle for me - we drove to Monte Carlo on my first night in France for coffee at Cafe de Paris, and here I am, my last night in France having the obligatory Cafe de Paris Sundae - reputably the best in the world and at a cost of 15 euro each. This place is amazing you could sit all day and watch the people and unbelievable cars roll up at the Casino. Apparently ladies man Edward VII was a regular visitor to the cafe and the dessert "crepe suzette" was named after one of his companions.

The Cafe de Paris menu - isn't it gorgeous?
