Too hot inside the house today.
The airconditioning at Robina Town Centre was an attraction!
No guessing what this shop window at Robina reminded me of!!The highlight today was a call from David in France. He has been busy studying for an exam he will do in the UK in the coming months.
HOT - it's been unbearably hot.
The damage from Cyclone Yasi is still dominating the news and will do so for months to come. 854 buildings were destroyed or damaged, including many schools. Banana and sugar crops are gone .... so are the tourists. The Government will pay for an advertising campaign to lure them back.
Lastnight, Sydney residents experienced their hottest night on record with the midnight temperature being 33 degrees. My guess, it was something like that here too - it was a dreadful... brings back memories of PNG. Luckily I was able to retreat to the airconditioning at Robina Town Centre for a while.
