Here we go again!! There is another major weather event about to happen. Cyclone Yasi (named in Fiji) is expected to hit the North Qld coast tomorrow night or Thursday am. I hope all my friends in that region have prepared well for this as the authorities are predicting it will be more destructive that cylone Larry 5 or so years ago. Patients in Cairns base hospital have been evacuated to hospitals in Brisbane and all schools are closed till Friday. Lets hope it fizzles out!!On the home front - I've been out most of the day. Lunch at Duranbah, afternoon coffee and cake at Elephant Rock Cafe - Currumbin.
